We are also located next to the recently renovated WC Beardslee Marina which offers party store supplies, ice, beer, bait, snacks, and fuel for your boats!
Wake up in the updated second floor master bedroom. Check out the water view in the 8 foot bay window. Its early, grab a wetsuit sand snorkel and pull one of the kids to join you to go in, its really clear in the morning.
Return to breakfast sizzling in the kitchen, then its sunning on the deck. Too much sun? Crank out the rollup awning.
Maybe take a boat out to go to lunch or catch some fish. Or use the paddleboards, or watch the grandkids on the playscape.
Take a walk to the park, bring your tennis racquet, and watch the kids on the swings.
Take a drive downtown and go to the penny candy store, check out the restaurants and the carry out food at the general store.
There is pan fishing off the dock or in the canals that run next to the main road. A breakfast visit to the Schoolhouse Grille, or any meal, is fantastic.
It generally doesn’t rain for days on end like Northern Michigan, but if it does, just go bowling, to a movie, or shopping on the mainland.
At night, take a sauna in the supercool outdoor sauna, have a fire on the porch, and when the mosquitos slow down, build a wood fire in the yard.
If it gets cool, build a fire in the stone fireplace inside.
When its time to turn in, enjoy the electric fireplace in your room for a heat optional ambience boost.
All easy, relaxing, and nice.
Situated on nearly two acres, you can enjoy the water view and sunsets from the air conditioned comfort of the house, from the deck, or from the platform at the end of the dock.

Reviews:
First off, the size of everything is impressive-the land is big, the house is big, the deck is big, and the frontage is substantial. Everything is well kept and the owner responds to texts immediately with any concerns. The rooms are comfortable, the mattresses and bedding are all excellent quality, and the layout and design is very unique as a vacation rental-the kids love the lofts, and the teenagers can stay up and close off the family room so the rest of us can sleep. Everything is like a regular home-city water, central air, modern kitchen, so that was all nice. The AC works well. The front porch is a nice escape from all the ruckus in the backyard. There is plenty of dockage, beach to swim, a fish cleaning station with a stainless table, hose and light, plenty of TV channels, plenty of parking for guests and boat trailers, and lots of privacy. We will be back for sure.
Everything was exactly as stated. What a beautiful home. It’s as if you don’t have any neighbors. With all the shade trees you feel and really are completely secluded. Lake St. Clair is known for it’s smallmouth bass and wow are they fun to catch. You could spend the summer at this place and never run out things to do. Owner was great and very easy to work with. The pier is over 100 yards long and it takes you out past the sandy beach to deeper water which was a plus for those bringing up boats. There is a line of reeds 30 yards past the pier and it really knocks down all the waves coming in from the bigger boats going down the channel and really helps protect the boats from banging the pier. There’s just nothing negative about this home. Big, well decorated, nice comfortable beds and everything you need for a great time.
The owner is very nice and professional. The house is fully furnished and has plenty of sleeping room. It’s by far the best house I’ve rented on the island. The dock is in deep water and the boat parking is proper for a 30′ Formula without issue. 10′ of water at the end of the dock makes for perfect diving and flips without hitting the bottom. The beds are all comfortable, and the kitchen is perfect for getaways or longer stays. Flat screen TV in the main living room worked great. The neighbors are quiet and respectful, I got along perfectly with everyone.
Hope to see you soon!
